"When trauma lives in the body, healing must too."
Compassionate somatic care across Africa · Empowering the next generation of healers
Trauma lives in the body long after the mind has tried to forget. Through somatic approaches, we help your nervous system complete what it couldn't during the traumatic event. Your body knows the way.
We honor the cultural wisdom of African communities while integrating evidence-based somatic practices — where tradition and transformation meet. Rooted in our stories.
You are not broken. You are a human being who has experienced too much, too fast, too soon. We create safety for your system to unwind, at your pace. You are whole as you are.
Our commitment is simple: to walk alongside you as you find your way home to yourself — to witness your unfolding, and to honor the courage it takes to heal.
Innostaa Networks offers somatic, trauma-informed care that honors your journey and reconnects you with your innate wisdom. We provide compassionate mental health support across Africa and empower the next generation of trauma-informed counselors.
We believe healing is not a destination but a living, breathing process — one that moves at the pace of your nervous system, held in the warmth of community.
MSc Suicidology · MA Psychology · BA Human Resources
With over 14 years of clinical practice, Mary is a licensed trauma therapist and suicide prevention specialist who has supported clients in crisis, trauma survivors, and organizations across Africa. She is the founder of Kenya's first specialized suicide prevention centre and has designed national training curricula in trauma-informed care.
Her clinical work spans Somatic Experiencing, TRE, Bioenergetics, CAMS, DBT, and Psychological First Aid — with specialized expertise in grief, GBV survivors, frontline humanitarian workers, and populations in conflict settings. She is also an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), providing supervision to therapists and suicide prevention practitioners across the region.
Enid is a well-being practitioner with three years of experience in psychosocial support, grounding, and direct intervention. Her background in Education and a MA in Counselling Psychology give her work both depth and a deeply human quality — she understands how people process, struggle, and what it costs to feel unseen.
Her practice is informed by training in digital health justice and gender and climate, since context shapes everything about how people experience and carry pain. She works with people navigating distress, loss, and life transitions — and that work, for her, is personal.
"Everyone deserves a space where they can exhale."
Innostaa works with a trusted network of specialist consultants who extend our care into classrooms, workplaces, and communities — each bringing deep expertise, and each sharing our conviction that healing must meet people where they are.
